Heavy-Duty Quartz Systems
A multilayer quartz broadcast build engineered for forklifts, spills, heat, and harsh cleaning — for facilities that can’t afford a floor failure.
Request a Free EstimateWhat is a heavy-duty quartz system?
Heavy-duty quartz is a multilayer resinous build: an epoxy or urethane body coat, colored quartz aggregate broadcast to full rejection — usually twice — and a chemical-resistant topcoat, installed at greater total thickness than a decorative broadcast. Each layer has a job: the body coat bonds and waterproofs, the quartz carries compressive load and sets the slip profile, and the topcoat locks in chemistry and cleanability. It’s the industrial-strength sibling of our quartz broadcast systems, with color options from the quartz blend collections.

Strength you can measure.
- Double broadcast at industrial thickness for impact & load
- Slip profile tuned by aggregate size — wet-area safe
- Chemical-resistant topcoat handles cleaners & process spills
- Seamless & waterproof with integral cove options
- UV-stable colored quartz — no repainting cycle
- Fast-cure options minimize production downtime
Where floors take a beating.
Layer by layer, to spec.
Diamond grinding or shot blasting to the specified CSP; repairs and joints detailed first.
Epoxy or urethane base applied at spec thickness — the bond and waterproofing layer.
Colored quartz broadcast to full rejection; excess reclaimed after cure.
Second coat and broadcast build thickness, uniformity, and impact resistance.
Grout coat locks the aggregate; chemical-resistant topcoat sets sheen and slip.
