What is a Concrete Underlayment?

A concrete underlayment is a self-leveling cementitious layer installed beneath a finished floor to correct elevation, flatness, and surface defects. After mechanical preparation and priming, we pump and gauge-rake the material to the specified thickness, producing a flat, smooth, high-strength substrate ready for resinous systems, tile, LVT, or polished toppings. It's the fastest way to bring an out-of-spec slab to FF/FL flatness requirements without demolition — and the difference between a finished floor that telegraphs every defect and one that looks engineered.

Why Resin Pros

Flat floors, fast.

  • Self-leveling, pump-applied installation
  • Corrects flatness & elevation issues
  • High compressive strength materials
  • Fast turnaround, minimal downtime
  • Compatible with every finish floor
  • Proper prep & priming, every time
