What is a metallic epoxy system?

Metallic epoxy is a high-build, multi-layer resinous system that blends 100% solids epoxy with metallic pigments. During installation the pigments flow into fluid, marble-like patterns, so no two floors are ever alike. Installed at 40–60 mils over mechanically prepared concrete and sealed with a polyaspartic or urethane topcoat, the finish is seamless, glass-like, and as durable as it is architectural — with gloss, satin, or matte sheens and UV-stable options that will not yellow.
