Luxury That Lasts.
Our metallic epoxy floors are more than just beautiful — they’re engineered for performance and designed to impress.
What is a Metallic Epoxy System?
Metallic epoxy is a high-build, multi-layer resinous flooring system made by blending 100% solids epoxy with metallic pigments. These pigments create fluid, marble-like visuals during installation — no two floors ever look the same. The result is a seamless, glass-like finish that’s as durable as it is beautiful.
Why chose a Metallic Epoxy System
High Gloss to Matte Finish – Glass-smooth surface with a reflective topcoat to a flat velvety topcoat
Durable Build – Applied at 40–60 mils total (depending on primer + pour)
Chemical Resistance – Handles cleaners, oil, road salts, and spills
Stain & Scratch Resistant – With a polyaspartic or urethane topcoat
UV-Stable Options – Polyaspartic or aliphatic urethane topcoats prevent yellowing
No Grout Lines or Seams – Easy to clean and visually continuous
Custom Color Effects – Layered pigments allow complete design control. Check out our Colored pigments below.

Our Process (How We Install Metallic Systems)
Step 1: Surface Preparation
We mechanically grind the concrete using an industrial grinder and high-quality metal-bonded diamonds to remove surface contaminants and open the pores. This achieves a CSP (Concrete Surface Profile) of 2–3, ideal for resinous coating systems. Edges and tight areas are detailed with hand grinders to ensure complete, uniform prep across the entire slab.
Step 2: Moisture Vapor Barrier System/MVB Grout Coat
Based on moisture readings, we apply either a moisture vapor barrier (MVB) or a MVB grout coat.
MVBs are ideal for damp slabs, offering superior adhesion and moisture resistance compared to standard epoxy. On dry concrete, a grout coat smooths the surface and prepares it for the base layer.
Step 3: Colored Base Coat
We apply a 100% solids pigmented epoxy base coat to establish the foundational color and create visual depth beneath the metallic layer. This coat enhances contrast, improves pigment movement, and ensures a uniform canvas for the design coat.
Its high-build formulation helps smooth minor surface variations while bonding tightly to the prepared concrete, setting the stage for a durable and vibrant finish.
Step 4: Optional Second Base Coat
In certain cases, we apply a second pigmented base coat to improve color richness, increase build, and further smooth the surface. This added layer helps ensure consistent coverage and enhances overall durability on more porous or uneven slabs.
Step 5: Metallic Design Coat
We pour and manipulate metallic-infused epoxy to create flowing, three-dimensional patterns unique to each floor. Using specialized techniques, we guide the pigments to produce depth, motion, and contrast — no two floors are ever the same.
This layer is the visual centerpiece of the system, blending artistry with high-performance resin to deliver a seamless, high-end finish.
Step 6: Protective Topcoat (Gloss to Matte)
We finish the system with a durable, UV-resistant topcoat tailored to your needs. Choose from gloss, satin, or matte finishes — each offering excellent protection against abrasion, stains, and daily wear.
For added traction, especially in garages or commercial spaces, a non-skid additive can be included to improve slip resistance without compromising the look.
